Small Businesses We LOVE

As a small business ourself we wanted to share some of our favorite small businesses that inspire us!

Roam the Range

Roam the Range started as a photography business to help raise money for horse rescues. Sarah, a friend of ours, has helped multiple horse rescues raise massive amounts of money for such a good cause! She has now expanded to fine jewelry which we absolutely love. All profits from their sales go to horse rescues!

Two years ago, Sarah was feeling down during the holidays and wanted to “do good.” She had heard that whenever you’re feeling helpless, get helpful. So, Her girls helped her post a story on social media where she announced that she was selling images to benefit a horse and donkey rescue in Bakersfield, California. Lifelong friends and total strangers rallied behind the cause. Over just a few days, Roam on the range was able to donate over $12,000 for All Seated in a Barn. Sarah created Roam on the range to make a changes and do some good in this world.

Montana Territory Hat Company

The Montana Territory Hat Company is a custom hat company rooted in the heritage, authenticity, and enduring romance of the American West. Each hat is custom designed and made by hand from start to finish in Bozeman, Montana and includes courtney’s western photography. courtney builds every hat by hand one step at a time in her studio in Bozeman, Montana escaping occasionally with her two little kids to their family ranch to ride horses and help work cattle under the expanse of the Bridger Mountain Range and the big Montana sky. We have met courtney and have been in her studio and it is gorgeous. Her hats are truly one of a kind.

Praerie

Praerie is a small, woman-owned brand designing dresses that are built to be as wearable as they are flattering and encourage everyone to embrace their dynamic ability to be many things. Praerie dresses are breathable enough to wear while you garden, work from home, and road trip -- while also feminine and flattering enough to wear to a night out or a summer BBQ. Each piece is designed to feel dreamy and whimsical, while still being easy to wear and style for the everyday.

quinn, praerie’s founder & designer, is one of our friends & was kind enough to send us some dresses for our first photoshoot. Her dresses are beautiful and wild and feminine. We are obsessed.

Wyoming Authentic Beef

i first found out about wyoming authentic beef from their videos on tiktok. Their daughter posted one that went viral of her parents who own the company because they needed help marketing. I fell in love with them and I cannot wait to try their beef!

The Wyoming and ranching roots for Wyoming Gourmet Beef Founder & CEO, David Fales, began in 1918 when his great-grandparents, grandparents and 9-month-old father left Missouri to homestead in Deaver, Wyoming. Here they cleared sagebrush, planted crops, and raised cattle within a pristine, rugged environment.

David was born in Cody, Wyoming in 1949, and lived nearby on this farm and cattle-feeding operation in Powell, Wyoming. He grew up assisting his father in raising and feeding cattle, and gained a great respect for the Wyoming ranchers who endure bitter cold and all types of harsh weather conditions to raise great cattle. He became increasingly intrigued with the idea of launching a specialty beef business to leverage the rich, Western heritage of the state's ranching industry while also addressing consumers' concerns about the origin, quality, and safety of their food.

David has always loved Wyoming cattle and remembering the delicious beef he ate when he was growing up. Now, he is passionate about providing this same consistently great-tasting, nutritious beef to others.
